We are releasing SoftNAS 5 this month. All new features will be available on the AWS and Azure marketplaces and with a BYOL license for VMware. To support the launch, we will have a blog and webinar out soon to help you learn about the new functionalities. Stay tuned for details.

In-place upgrades to SoftNAS™ 5.0.0 from previous versions are not supported. A migration tool has been created to aid in the transition from pre 5.0.0 instances. To ensure a smooth transition to the new release the migration tool is available by contacting Buurst support.

• CentOS 8.2 - We are now running SoftNAS on CentOS 8.2
• AWS Outpost - SoftNAS 5.0 running on AWS Outpost is now supported
• 30-35% Performance Improvements

End of Life:

Buurst will continue to support the current version of SoftNAS plus the 2 previous minor versions of that product as well as any version of a product released in the previous 12 months. Previous versions of Buurst products are deemed no longer supported and customers should upgrade to the latest version of the product.
